Everybody knows about at least one social media website. I could name a few right here, right now. Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Tumblr just to name a few. You may know about some of the negatives of social media, but do you know the positives? Or the Interesting aspects. Most likely not. This website explains the negatives, positives and the in-between.
Positives of social media. There are many positive effects of Social media and Social networking. This is an advanced list of all the proven positives. It is easier to communicate with people far away, and it means that those people far away can see what events you went to, how you are feeling, what you are eating and lots of stuff like that. But those are the basics, and they are obvious as well. There is much more goodness to the internet than what I just wrote above me. For Example:
Police in New York used twitter to catch people boasting about what crimes they committed recently
Support groups share important information about diseases that each member of the group has. This is especially important as it creates a better lifestyle with enough information for those with diseases or disabilities.
Employers post job vacancies up on sites like Facebook and LinkedIn. People in the area who are unemployed see those jobs and take them. This is very helpful to many who can not find jobs in an easier way
